Sideshow, home many premium collectable models, has a 4th of July sale on and it runs up to 5 PDT on the 8th.
You can check out the details and the figures eligible for the $25 off. There’s a minimum spend of $75, so it’s not a way to slyly get one of their collector’s guide or art books for almost nothing.
I’ve pulled a sample of the models to look at; just four from the many dozens they have.
Lady Deadpool
That’s right; she’s kicking a missle.
There’s a low stock warning on this model, and the description begins with this quote;
You’ve got one second to rephrase that and perhaps say something nice about my hair.”
Lady Deadpool’s model was designed by Ian MacDonald and Alex Pascenko. She’s polyresin and 22″ high by 19″ wide.
Bane
He’s not happy with you.
This is a collector edition (one of 1,500) Bane statues. His introductory quote is;
You will know my name one day. And on that day you will beg for mercy. You will scream my name! SCREAM IT!”
Bane is 23″ heigh by 14″ wide and designed by Alex Pascenko, Zac Roane, Walter ONeal, SIXMOREVODKA, Coran Stone and Big Shot Toyworks.
The Amazing Spider-Man
He’s got a movie out right now.
This is a limited edition (1 of 5,000) models sold by Marvel and Sideshow Collectibles. Spidy introduces himself with;
Hey kids, don’t try this at home!”
This Spider-man is designed by Ian MacDonald and Zac Roane. He’s 22.25″ tall by 13″ wide with a depth of 10″.
Halloween Batgirl
Someone’s dressed up.
There’s an “Almost sold out” warning on this model. There were only 5,200 made.
There are fewer details for our Halloween Batgirl than the other models, but we know she’s designed by Ant Lucia and inspired by the DC Bombshells range.
Batgirl is 10.58″ high, and her box is 10″ wide and 14″ deep.
This little tour of Sideshow Collectible models is part of Superhero Week. From here you can pop over to the Chat Portal to join in the discussion on the site or teleport to another random post.
