For a limited time, Palladium Books have made Rifts Bestiary volume 1 available as a free sneak preview on DriveThruRPG.
Rifts is a sci-fi RPG set in a post-apocalyptic Earth now ravished by alien magic, technology wielded by fascist regimes, armies of vampires, interdimensional slavers now based in Atlantis and a host of other powerful foes.
The full Bestiary is due out this month and will contain illustrations from the likes of Robert Atkins, Charles Ferguson-Avery, Wayne Breaux Jr and Mark Dudley. It’s 256 pages, with 82 different creatures and maps.
This book itself is a compilation of monsters already published, and volume one focuses on North America. It will be one of three. A quick look at the contents suggests monsters like Aqua-Hydra, Black Faerie, Chatterlings, Dragonfish, Frost Panthera-Tereon and Darkhounds.
