Ravnica has long been a popular realm for Planeswalkers to battle in Magic: The Gathering. Now it’s also a Dungeons & Dragons setting for heroic adventurers.
It’s been nearly a decade since Wizards of the Coast last published a story for Ravnica, but the War of the Spark changes that.
The adventure starts with young Teyo Verade desperate to become a Shield Mage is battling to protect his people from the vicious diamondstorms that torment his world. It goes wrong, and Teyo finds himself dead and buried…
… but Teyo doesn’t die. A spark inside him ignites, and he becomes a Planeswalker, flush with new power, and in the world of stone and glass that is Ravnica.
The city-planet is under siege, though, as the Elder Dragon Bolas and his mighty army threaten to ruin the Ravnica in a desperate quest to become a god.
Magic: The Gathering – Ravnica – War of the Spark by Greg Weisman is released in the UK on August 6th. It’s published by Titan Books and available in several formats.
