Reddit user Caeruin shared Wuerfel.app. Wuerfel is German for Cube, according to Microsoft Translator.
Caeruin was inspired to share the project which began as a User Experience / User Interaction experiment after Google added dice rolling to their engine.
Click on the dice to add them to the tray and then click the dice icon on the right to make them roll. You can create sets to save them for later use and add plus or negative modifiers.
Wuefel App roadmap
What’s planned for Wuefel app? Caeruin discussed their plans on Reddit.
On the radar is an app version. Wisely, Caeruin is considering making the necessary tweaks to change the site into a progressive web app and then it would work from smartphones even if you’re offline.
Also planned is a way to make the dice results sharable. That would make the roller compatible with pay-per-post and other online systems. I’m not sure it would be enough for a virtual tabletop or stream game as that would require multiple people to be logged in.
