Justice Velocity is an action RPG from Polyhedra Games. Geek Native covered the Kickstarter at the start of the year and described the game as being inspired by The Fast & The Furious.
That Kickstarter was successful, Polyhedra have continued to make progress with Justice Velocity, and there’s now a quickstart for the RPG. This is currently a Geek Native exclusive, for the next few days you won’t be able to get a look at this PDF from anywhere else, and then, wisely, the quickstart will be added to DriveThruRPG.
You can get the full 77-paged PDF (or paper version) of Justice Velocity from DriveThruRPG.
The quickstart has information on the game’s setting, the Action Movie Universe, and the associated tropes of explosions, espionage, martial arts, gunplay, fast cars and hacking.
There are 7 pre-genned characters but not full chargen options. Thankfully there’s a character for every one of the 7 different archetypes that Justice Velocity uses. That means one Driver, Face, Gunner, Hacker, Mechanic, Medic and Muscle.
There are the basics of game mechanics, enough so you can play a game, and rules of vehicles and racing so you can play the game Justice Velocity style. There are gears, weapons and abilities too.
Lastly, there’s a scenario “Hot Gemes” suitable for 2 to 4 players that features a heist and a race.
Oh! That Quickstart cover! Looks like Jeff Bezos in a nuclear-powered mech facing off against Kung Fury.
