Here at Geek Native HQ, the local weather has changed suddenly. The lingering summer has retreated, the winds are prowling the Scottish docks, and the sudden heavy rain is finding victims.
Geeky jumpers and sweaters, the natural response to the approach of Autumn, are frustratingly hard to find.
Halloween Costumes has a collection of ugly Halloween sweaters worth checking out, though. That’s their branding, by the way, not mine. I think these designs are bold and independent. Quirky, yeah, but not ugly.

You can browse the current stock over at halloweencostumes.co.uk. It’s about 50 squid a sweater and all the ones I’ve investigated are 100% acrylic. That means they’re nice and robust, not too heavy, but are best hand-washed. If you’re a cotton-only sweater sort of buyer, then this will be bad news.
All the designs are exclusive to Halloween Costumes too. There is a US version store, and they’ve Freddy Krueger and Beetlejuice options that, I guess, aren’t licensed in the UK.
