I’m two episodes into Carnival Row and liking it so far. Monte Cook Games and Nerdist are way ahead of most people, though. They teamed up with Amazon to create a Carnival Row RPG which you can download for free.

The game uses Monte Cooke’s Cypher System, which you’ll need to play. That’s the same mechanics as can be found in Invisible Sun, Numenera as well as popular supplements like Sean K. Renolds’ Priests of the Aeons.
Carnival Row is about 35 pages long. It introduces the races; humans, trow, faeries, fauns, centaurs, kobolds and even the cursed Marroks. It shows the world, with a history of the war, maps of Burgue and details on the culture.
It also has stats for characters like Rycroft Philostrate and Vignette Stonemoss.
