Legendary game designer and the founder of Chaosium died last year on October 10th. To honour the “grand shaman of gaming,” his company is organising #WeAreAllUS which runs from October 10th to October 31st.
There will be free scenarios released for Rune Quest, Call of Cthulhu, King Arthur, Pendragon, HeroQuest and the new family member the 7th Sea. These are all of Chaosium’ main game lines.
However, Chaosium would like the community to take part and help honour Stafford too. There are many ways in which gamers can take part in #WeAreAllUS and playing one of the games that Stafford wrote or influenced is recommended.
Playing any game at all is also good. Greg Stafford’s last public speech was at the 2018 ENnies, and he reminded us that this hobby only exists because of our enthusiasm for games.
If you are gaming during the event then the hashtag #WeAreAllUS can be used on social media to accompany any image you share, or, slightly more private to the gaming community you can upload to BRP Central.
Chaosium would also like people to show the Sartar Rune/Greg Rune, shown in this post, in the social media shares.
