Three Forbidden Planet stores in the UK have actual puppets used in the making of Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance on display thanks to a partnership with Netflix.
The puppets are safely tucked away from Skeksis in display cases or in windows, and it looks like a superb chance to get up close to these incredible props. Here’s where you can find the Dark Crystal characters;
- In Birmingham: Aughra’s attendant, Podling, Fizzgig
- In Bristol: Brea, Rian
- In Cambridge: Deet, Podling, Fizzgig
Forbidden Planet told press;
We’re truly overwhelmed to have these wonderful characters with us. They’re the magic of Thra, brought life, and they’re so incredibly realistic, we almost expect them to move!
Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is available on Netflix in the UK, USA and for viewers around the world.
