Storm Area 51 RPG is a two-paged and free to download game based on the viral attempt to storm the ‘secret’ military base at Rachel, Lincoln County, Nevada. The raid itself might not have happened according to plan, but at least we’ve got some gaming content out of it.

The fake-news media tried to play it off as a joke. But there’s two things people should never underestimate: weirdos with nothing to lose, and Facebook events.
The game begins with a concept crafted out of the essence of 2019 and then goes on to introduce backgrounds (weeaboos, confused tourists, stoners, etc), special skills (trolling, hacking, inter-species diplomacy, etc) and a secret (an alien looking for your friends, etc).
Likewise, the game’s stats are in keeping with the game’s theme. Characters have athletics, life-force, intelligence, ego and Naruto. If you’re not familiar with Naruto as a stat, then it describes your ability to do ninja-shit like special running.
If you are intending the GM the game and aren’t sure what might happen during the raid there are some suggestions / random tables. Obstacles include the like of “no WiFi” and the crowds at your Area 51 event can range from no one turning up to 3 million easily manipulated Facebook users.
The game was written by Julia Grosvenor and shared on Reddit, where it has been popular.
This is the second time in nearly as many months that Julia has been a front-page star on the hugely popular website. Earlier this year a photograph of Julia and her cap as she graduated with a double major in Environmental Studies and Communication also hit the top of the charts.
