Jason Vey has launched his first Kickstarter, after backing twenty-one. It’s for of Elf Lair Games’ OSR (called O.G.R.E.S.) horror game called Night Shift. You can follow the progress here.
Night Shift us an urban fantasy horror powered by “Oldschool Generic Roleplaying Engine System.” The design lets you play a cheerleader who slays vampires, witch sisters, fairies, the great-grandniece of a famous gunslinger or a pair of brothers who hunt down supernatural threats in their father’s name (sometimes with the assist of angel). If some of these plots sound familiar, then that’s the idea.
A pledge of $10 is enough for the PDF, and $30 is enough for a hardback in black and white. $60 gets you the hardcover of the core rules and 5 softcover booklets of the Player’s Guide.
The game is designed by Jason Vey and Timothy Brannan who have been part of such RPG projects like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, All Flesh Must be Eaten, Doctor Who, Witchcraft, Ghosts of Albion, and Castles & Crusades.
