That sassy goose, the one you would never turn your back on, as been written up by Redditor Otaku-sama as a D&D monster.
The nameless goose has been defined as a “small fiend”, and given the way it appears from bushes at the start of the game, maybe that’s right.
Maybe the bushes are a strange portal from Gooseland that connects to any village unwise enough to install a bell. That’s why the goose has so many bells as victory trophies in its nest. It’s not the same village it raids every time, that explains the lack of anti-goose signs to begin with, but a different set of victims which each mission.
What do you think about the alignment? Chaotic Neutral. It certainly doesn’t have much of a moral compass either way, not towards acts of kindness or maliciousness. While it is an animal, it did seem to be following a list of actions.
Otaku-same explained the choice, noting;
The Goose just wants to have a picnic, do his shopping and have a nice dinner. It just has no money to pay for it.
Do you think the kid playing with his model aeroplane and suddenly indeed on getting his eyes tested again would agree?
