Michael Addison’s gothic horror RPG, The Curse of the House of Rookwood, went to the Kickstarter community to ask for $5,000 in funding. It’s a few days into the campaign, and we’re nearly there with only a $100 or so go until that target is hit. Visit the campaign page to pledge or check out the comments.
In the game you create a cursed family, they’ve troubled relationships but also supernatural powers, and the goal of the RPG is to either bury your skeletons or bring the family to ruin.
The PDF version of the game will cost you $15 as a pledge, that comes with all the stretch goals. Nicely, there’s a “hardship” tier available for people who are struggling with cash. You get the same PDF and stretch goals for only $8.
The physical copy of the game is your at the US$25 pledge mark.
DriveThruRPG isn’t involved. The Curse of the House of Rookwood was developed on itch.io and Fulfillrite are being used to fulfil this crowdfunder.
There’s an excellent way to get a look at the mind of designer Michael Addison, last month he wrote up 8 innovative horror RPGs you can play on Halloween. It’s been a popular post.
