It’s that time of year when you start to look around for gifts for your gaming buddies. Here at Geek Native HQ, we have several cheeky faces from Smoko that light our way. Each one bought and paid for, each one an instant and easy addition to the geeky clutter that surrounds us.
Atmosphere, I mean. Did I say clutter?
Smoko kawaii lights
Yeah, I know, I’ve covered the dumpling light already. It’s too cute to punish and banish from this round-up.
- Corgi ambient light – 5.25 x 3.5 x 3.75 inches and runs of AAA batteries.
- Butta toast light – 5 x 3.5 x 4 inches and runs off AAA batteries.
- Anglerfish booklight – 3 x 3 x 2.5 inches and with a light cord that’s about 5.5 inches long and a clamp that opens 0.7 inches wide. Also needs 3 x AAA batteries.
- Giant dumpling light – 6.5 x 6.5 x 5.5 inches and still only needs 3 x AAA batteries. However, the giant dumpling changes colours and can also run from the mains. What a big boy.
These lights are not part of the internet of things. You won’t be able to shout, “Alexa! Activate the corgi!” (well, you can shout it – but nothing will happen) but that keeps the costs down.
Smoko is based in the US, but they do support international shipping to places like France, Germany, Ireland, Australia and even the United Kingdom (Brexit pending). It’s best to check what those fees are at the checkout and then expect custom fees to bite you later, as they almost always do.
