Void Warper is a (mostly) free to play game available for your Alexa. Begin the game by saying, “Alexa, launch Void Warper“.
In the game, you’re the captain of a ship woken from cryo-sleep by your third-generation AI called Valerie. Together, you mist deliver Princess Victoria to the Terran palace on Earth.
The adventure begins at a friendly space dock, and you’ll have to decide which modules to install in your ship. You might add a medical bay so can heal or analyse, a sensor array to find hidden information or a hacking module to try and take control of robotic systems you encounter. Alternatively, you could just install a cargo bay to store more loot.
Sounds easy enough? Nope, revolutionaries are trying their hardest to assassinate Victoria.
The game was written by River Horse, but it was developed by the specialist studio Aloud Tech.
In Aloud Tech’s demo, they reveal that some sectors of space are not free to play in but can be accessed via in-game payments. As a result, Geek Native does not recommend that children are left to play Void Warper without supervision.
