Yesterday we learnt that the D&D movie might feature the Eye of Vecna and perhaps the lich-god was being set up, Thanos style, as the big bad.
In terms of dangerous artefacts, Infinity Stone-like, the Eye of Vecna and the Hand of Vecna tend to go together. They were both carved off Vecna while he was still mortal and to use them the new wielder must replace their own body parts with them.
So, who currently has them in D&D mythology? Joe Manganiello’s character Arkhan the Cruel canonically has the Hand of Vecna.
WizKids will be adding Arkhan the Cruel to their D&D Icons of the Realms range along with his crew The Dark Order.
Here’s what they look like;
Arkhan the Cruel
Check out his lich-hand, clearly on display and not his natural dragonborn colour.
Torogar Steelfist
Minotaur bodyguard.
Krull
Tortle Death Cleric.
Berserker
White Abishai
Chango
A pet manticore.
The set is due out March 2020.
