Wizards of the Coast have announced a new Dungeons & Dragons computer game. It’s due out in 2020 for PCs and consoles and will feature Drizzt Do’Urden.
The news that many Geek Native readers have been expecting is here. In October, Wizards of the Coast announced they had bought computer game maker Tuque. Today, they have revealed Tuque’s D&D computer game.
Dark Alliance will feature the Drow Drizzt Do’Urden and his Companions of the Hall.
We’ve had Drizzt Do’Urden stories for 31 years, but this is the first time the rogue dark elf has had a computer game of his own.
You’ll be able to play Dark Alliance as a four-player co-op and, not surprisingly, there are four characters; Drizzt, Bruenor Battlehammer, Batti-brie and Wulfgar.
Dark Alliance isn’t the only big D&D computer game we’re waiting on. Baldur’s Gate III is also expected out next year.
