There’s still time to donate to Patrick Rothfuss’ Worldbuilders and help the charity fundraiser exceed it’s $500,000 goal. It ends on December 17th.
Worldbuilders is about geeks doing good. In particular, it’s about raising money for the charity Heifer International although Mercy Corps, GlobalGiving and First Book have all been helped out.
There are a few ways to help out. You can donate. Worldbuilders is a 501(c)3 organisation which means, if you’re American, then these donations are tax-deductible.
You can also take part in the charity ebay auction.
For example, want these D&D Cards donated by Critical Role? The current bid on ebay is currently $260.
There’s a host of gaming companies helping out. Let’s take the time to thank each one.
