SyFy are bringing us a mini-series for a re-imagined The Phantom. Yup; that purple clad hero of old.
Once again they’ve teamed up with RHI Entertainment for this modern retelling. RHI are the people who worked with SyFy on Tin Man, the Wizard of Oz re-telling that featured Zooey Deschanel and Alan Cumming.
The new Phantom follows Kit Walkers as he finds himself picking up a heritage he knew nothing about andbecome the twenty-first “ghost who walks”. Here’s the official blurb.
Young urban daredevil Kit Walker finds himself recruited by a secret organization, unveiling a heritage he never could have dreamed possible. Revered as the twenty-first “ghost who walks,” he must now uphold and honor his ancestors’ creed—to fight crime and injustice throughout the world.
