Midnight Tower asked for little over £100 to fund a D&D 5e powered H.P. Lovecraft inspired one-shot adventure. At the time of writing, they still have 21 days of the campaign left to run and just smashed through the £9,000 mark. That’s quite a success!
The Kickstarter campaign is to produce some Lovecraftian-themed character sheets, the “What happened to Evy Ashwood?” adventure and The Great Old One Compendium.
The adventure is suitable for three to five 6th-level adventurers using D&D 5e rules. Meanwhile, the Compendium will have Cthulhu-style magical items, spells, curses and more.
The Nameless Creation is a new monster that you will get your hands on a DM, along with detailed NPCs and Legends & Lore. The latter comes in the form of The Cats in the Tower.
“What happened to Evy Ashwood?” has been designed with traditional tabletop and virtual tabletops in mind, so the maps are downloadable and have options for both.
The digital copy of the game costs £6, the softcover (plus PDF) costs £12, and if you want a hardback, you need only increase your pledge slightly to £15.
