UK geeky retailer Zavvi has secured an undisclosed number of limited edition Akira lithographs. The sales window for the exclusive, though, has been disclosed.
The prints will go on sale on March 30th and will only be available for 72 hours. Pre-orders, however, are being taken.
Akira is perhaps the most well known and acclaimed anime of all time and writing in 2020, we can also say that Akira is set in the past. Akira’s vision of 2019 is of a dystopian society, after a war and with great inequalities and shady organisations.
The poster is printed on lithograph paper, is 18 by 24 inches and will come individually numbered.
The artist is Michael Lee-Graham, a horror fan, based in the UK and who has worked for Hero Complex, Game and Channel 4 before.
