Last year, Geek Native reported on WizKids and Renegade Game Studios teaming up to turn the popular Wardlings miniature range into an RPG.
Renegade is now taking pre-orders for the Wardlings Campaign Guide, with expected delivery in May.
The game is for ages 10 and up and is set in a world where children can see the magical creatures around them. Adults can not. The children are the heroes, the people who will save the land, protect the land and go on adventures.
It’s a story about innocence and the uncorrupted minds of youth. Elisa Teague is the designer, and Jacqui Davis and Sabrina Pugnale will illustrate the 162-paged hardcover.
Wardlings will use D&D as a rule system, wearing the 5e badge on the cover. The book will introduce new backgrounds, spells as well as whimsical monsters suitable for the Or’Myra setting and young heroes.
