Author Pablo Corona has found a way to make his contributions to the DM’s Guild standout. The front cover of each one of his 5 (and counting) adventures in Amonkhet is a deadpan selfie.
The first in the series, Plane shift Amonkhet pt 1 is a pay-what-you-want product and a single page. I’ve not downloaded it.
I did notice Amonkhet pt 1 arriving. It stood out even with the steady stream of daily submissions to the D&D 3rd-party marketplace.
Part two, $1 for a page, maybe my favourite as the selfie seems to have been taken in bed.
Geek Native hasn’t reached out to Corona — and if that’s their real name, it’s perfectly topical — as I’m not entirely sure if this is a wind-up or not. In any case, here’s one DM’s Guild publisher who has found a unique and hilarious way to get his low-cost products standout from the crowd.
