It very much feels like the end of the game for the Westworld story. It’s been a fantastic run.
If you’re watching this trailer, but haven’t seen the first two, then you have every reason to be confused. The cowboys have escaped the ranch and the new enemy, for some of them, is humanity.
The tag line on the poster is “free will is not free”, which is true. Westworld’s never been shy about exploring what freedom means. People went to the robot populated park and did horrible things because they were free to do them. What will the robots do now that they are free?
Season 3 will only be eight episodes long, but the first one is extended into a 70-minute premiere. The show is due out in States on March 15th, and it’ll premiere at the same time in the UK on Sky Atlantic and Now TV.
