Do you use dice to keep track of your current hit points? It’s a common approach because it’s fast, effective, and an excuse to keep dice around. There are risks, though, cats, for example, or an accidental nudge that throws your health into confusion.
A photograph shared on Reddit’s D&D community shares a gorgeous improvement. These are exotic woods carved, sculpted and polished to perfection to hold the hit point dice steady.
The community response was excellent. In fact, there were so many offers of interest that the designer, Stephens Woodworks, threw together a Kickstarter to make more.
The Kickstarter is a quick one, with just under two weeks, at the time of writing, on the clock. It’s funded already, the ask was only for $400 to buy materials, but nearly 50 backers have already pledged over $2,300.
The estimated delivery is pretty quick too; May 2020 for all the tiers. That date is likely to slip back if the Kickstarter gets too popular, however.
Don’t want to wait? It turns out that dice spell trackers and double dice boxes are only a couple of days.
