60 million people in Italy are in quarantine. It’s hard to find anything that rivals the cultural and economic impact of Covid-19. It’s easy to see why companies, with liabilities, insurance and honest-to-goodness concern for the health of their fans, are playing it safe with conventions, events and meet-ups.
Chaosium, the publishers of Call of Cthulhu and 7th Sea, have today cancelled Chaosium Con Down Under.
The event was scheduled for May 2 to May 3, in 2020, and was to be held at in Sydney, Australia. Chaosium has already confirmed the event will return in 2021.
We’re deeply disappointed we can’t go ahead after spending the past year making plans for the convention and sharing our excitement and enthusiasm for it with Chaosium fans all over Australia and beyond.
We thank everyone who has already enrolled for your support: all tickets that have been purchased will be promptly refunded.
John Wick was to be the international guest of honour.
