The Op / USAopoly are known for their geeky Monopoly games and deals that make the like of Critical Role Munchkin possible. They’ve just announced a roleplaying game, and it may be the first one ever made from a Pixar license.
Onward is a Pixar/Disney animation in which two elf brothers attempt to use magic to bring back their late father. Chris Pratt and Tom Holland provide the voices and director Dan Scanlon is a gamer.
Not only are their D&D references in Onwards but the elf brothers play tabletop RPG called Quests of Yore.
The new RPG is called Quests of Yore: Barkey’s Edition and comes with 1 advanced players guide, 1 quest tone, 180 power, spell and item cards, 24 hex titles, 4 conviction tokens, a quest screen, character sheets, miniatures, dice and other rules.
The game will hit stores in Autumn and be available outside of America too. The expected retail price is $49.99.
