The Horrible Guild is an Italian games publisher with permission to make an official Vampire: the Masquerade board game. If you think their name is quirky now; they used to be known as Horrible Games.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Vendetta suits 3 to 5 players, each acting as one of the vampire clans in Chicago, trying to get rid of Prince Kevin. It’s doing well, asking for €40,000 it has now raised more than €110,000 and, at the time of writing, has 7 days to run. You can follow progress on the Kickstarter campaign page.
It’s the seven core Camarilla clans you’ll find in this war for control; Malkavian, Toreador, Gangrel, Nosferatu, Tremere, Ventrue and Brujah. Each deck has a very different feel.
The pledge tiers are straight-forward. A €30 (about £28) pledge will get you one copy of the game and all the stretch goals. However, far more backers have gone for the €50 option to get the game, 40 plastic blood tokens, a cloth bag and 3 foldable token holders too.
Shipping is expected to add up to €15 for China, America, central Europe and the UK, €18 for the rest of Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the rest of Asia. It can climb as high as €55 for other parts of the world.
