Vault Comics will launch a Vampire: The Masquerade comic in July 2020.
The deal, which is part of Paradox Interactive’s licensing program around the World of Darkness, also includes content for the Modiphius managed Vampire 5e.
The first issue features Cecily Baine, a Kindred enforcer based in the Twin Cities, who has to mentor a mysterious new vampire and gets caught up in a conspiracy.
The RPG content included in the comics will enable roleplayers to keep up with the events in the story in their own games.
Three authors are working on the series; Tim Seeley, Tini Howard and Blake Howard. Devmalya Pramanik and Nathan Gooden provide the art, with Addison Duke doing the colours and Aaron Campbell the cover.
Vault Comics specialises in creator-owned fantasy and science-fiction stories. The private company is only 4 years old and art director Nathan Gooden is one of the co-founders.
Diamond distributes Vault’s books in Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. You can also find Vault on Comixology.
