If you can’t actually turn your home into a castle (dratted abundance of planning regulations and absence of gold) then you can at least have a house key befitting a knight.
Hero’s Armory is a shop that aims to make legendary those items you might once have thought every day. They make sword keys.
Here; let me show you.
Okay, looks cool, but how does it work? Hero’s Armory doesn’t actually make a key that can turn your lock and you don’t need to send them your keys. Please don’t send them your keys.
You pick a blank design, and there’s help to make sure you pick one that’s compatible with your key, then they send you a blank. You then take that blank key to a professional locksmith. I think in the US some hardware stores like Home Depot or Lowes might offer that service, whereas here in the UK I imagine finding your local Timpson is the starting point.
If you don’t have room in your life for a sword key then what about a battle axe bottle opener or a sword tie clip?
Are you tempted? What other household items could we swordify? A ceiling fan of spinning swords?
