Anime streaming kingpin Crunchyroll has today released a range of top 10 infographics. We’ve got the 10 most popular anime in Canada, France, Germany, Mexico, Moldova, Oceania, Russia and the UK.
If that’s an odd mix of countries, then perhaps that’s because running global anime phenomena gives you an exciting take on geography. Check out the top 10 countries when we look at views per user (who watches the most anime).
Most popular anime on Crunchyroll
We know the most popular anime on the platform based on that data but not which show is outperforming the others. That’s to say Crunchyroll has shared an alphabetical top 20.
There are some strong players in that last, the ninja family of Naruto and Boruto appearing multiple times, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan and the 2019 smash hit Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. I thought it was interesting that Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun makes the chart too, proving I wasn’t the only one who found it a guilty pleasure.
Now, while those 20 titles aren’t ranked, I think it’s safe to say Black Clover dominated. For every country we do have a 10 in, Black Clover is in the first or second position.
