Green Ronin, like many other RPG publishers, have shifted to a digital-only model for new books (for now). The first of these is a supplement for their acclaimed superhero RPG Mutants & Masterminds.
Time Traveler’s Codex is available from DriveThruRPG and their webstore.
The supplement has a brief history of time travel and how to cope with it in the Earth-Prime setting. There are, as any writer of book or sci-fi TV series will tell you, hazards in modelling.
In addition to advice on how to get time travel right, the Time Traveler’s Codex has six causality-shaking villain archetypes and dozens of minions. There are new advantages, powers and equipment.
The supplement also introduces new time-travelling hero archetypes.
Crystal Frasier, one of the book’s co-authors and M&T developer, introduced the supplement on Green Ronin’s blog making the case that it’s time travel that unites the truly iconic superheroes.
Frasier also posted this preview of the contents page (PDF), so you can see in more detail what is in the book before you buy.
The DriveThruRPG listing suggests medieval French castles, Aztec battlefronts and the imperial Ming court are all within your research with the Time Traveler’s Codex.
