RPG publishers and creators in the community are being walloped by the lockdown.
Distributors are no longer moving physical books and events are being cancelled. Cons are a great way to sell books directly to gamers but to announce the essential new releases for the year ahead.
To address this, some publishers have put together, at short notice, an online charitable fundraiser. It’ll run from April 18th to the 19th.
IsolaCon is the cooperative effort of numerous table top RPG creatives including streamers, podcasters, artists, publishers and more with the goal of spreading some light in these troubled times. Our first event benefits the RPG Creators Relief Fund.
IsolaCon is being organised on Facebook and already has a busy events page
You can also read IsolaCon’s Code of Coduct.
You’ll notice that all the events and live streams have a cost of $0.00, but the ask is you make a donation of about $15 per event you play in. The money goes to the RPG Creators Relief Fund (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit).
