Pinnacle Entertainment Group and Shane Hensley have brought the Savage Worlds Adventure Edition of Deadlands to Kickstarter. It’s a smashing success with over $140,000 pledged in the first 24 hours against a goal of $10,000.
The weird west mixes the supernatural, occult and horror with the harsh reality of the Western genre. You can watch the fists full of Dollars roll in here.
A pledge of $25 will get you the PDF copy of the Deadlands core rules and some stretch goals. However, there’s more than one book being funded in this campaign and to get them all you need to step up to $45 for the full PDF collection.
Those books in addition to the Deadlands core rules are the Boxed Set PDF, Horror at Headstone Hill and Weird West Pawns.
Alternatively, $45 is also what it takes to card the PDF and hardcover of the Deadlands Core Rules.
Want those books in physical form? Then pledge higher.
PEG must have calculated that most gamers interested in getting into Deadlands already have a copy of the latest Savage Worlds. I do not. There’s no tier which also gets you either PDF or physical copy of the new Savage Worlds Adventure Edition with your Deadlands books.
