I’ve launched a beta project on the site today called “Karma Queue“. Let me try and describe it with a statement of fact and a theory.
Fact: Many RPG publishers are struggling with finances during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Theory: Many gamers would help out but barely know where to start given there are so many publishers and so many different things that might, or might not be helpful.
Karma Queue
To see whether or not the theory is right we’ve now got the Karma Queue.
Visit the Karma Queue and you’ll see a dashboard for two different publishers.
These publishers are at the top of the karma queue, that means they’ve had the least karma recorded against their name.
You’ll also see a large, medium and a small thing you can do to help the publisher. Please consider it. If you do a nice thing then, if you want, you can record that kindness, and the karma queue will update and potentially show a new publisher to the next visitor.
Please bear with the system. It’s a Frankenstein monster of Google Sheets in the background. It takes a while to update.
Also, optionally, you can give the system a name to record your karma against. That way you can see whether or not your one of the ‘karma heroes’ who’ve made the charts of helpfulness.
You can check out the Karma Queue via that link or the new ‘Resources’ option in the top menu.
If you’re a publisher who wants to join the queue then please get in touch.
