The lockdown delayed Kickstarter for The Troubleshooters, an RPG based on (don’t say Tintin) European comics and set in the 60s is finally live, and Kickstarter likes it.
The campaign asks for SEK 200,000 (about £16,500), and on the first day, hundreds of backers have quickly taken it to SEK 250,000 (£21,500). You can follow progress at the campaign page.
The Troubleshooters is an English language game by a Swedish company that will be available in French thanks to co-publishers Arkhane Asylum Publishing. This feels appropriate for the 60s (a time of optimising) game about thwarting dastardly plots all across Europe.
The core rules, adventure book and passport PDF are yours for SEK 150 (about £13). That’s great value.
Pay just SEK 350 (£30) and those core rules become a printed book.
The printed The Troubleshooters game is a 200-page hardcover. We’re promised it will be richly illustrated even in the standard edition. Oh yes, if you want more glamour, you can pay more, and take home the deluxe edition.
Want to know it’s like being a 60s style Troubleshooter? There’s a free quickstart scenario called The Minoan Affair that you can download for free.
