Dominique Dickey was an academic intern at Monte Cook Games and as a result of their time at the company is now a published designer. Their Cypher System adventure Heist on Miracle IV has been made available from the publisher’s webstore.
In Heist on Miracle IV, the characters’ patron becomes certain that proof of alien intelligence has been found on the research station Miracle IV. She pays good money for the PCs to go fetch it.
What’s interesting about Miracle IV? The staff have been replaced by synths, and the station’s AI has some surprising tricks of its own.
The discovery at Miracle IV might be bigger than a simple alien intelligence, and now the characters only have a few hours to make their money and get out alive.
The adventure only costs $1.99, and until June 20th all proceeds from sales will be donated to Back Lives Matter.com.
Additionally, Monte Cook Games will match that figure for the first 1,000 copies sold. The webpage for the download still says 500, but an email from Monte Cook explains that figure was reached so quickly, they’ve doubled the amount to 1,000.
You can download Heist on Miracle IV today.
