Wizards of the Coast and partners at IDW Publishing and Dark Horse Comics announced two comic books.
Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons
Written by Jim Zub and Jody Houser, illustrated by Diego Galindo and coloured by MsassyK, Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons pick up from when the Hawkins friends meet Dustin for the first time.
As fans of Netflix’s hit show know, after that meeting the boys start to play D&D. It puts them in a good space for their encounter with Eleven and the weirdness that follows.
The first issue is due out in the first week of November and will cost $3.99.
At The Spine of the World
At The Spine of the World is set in Icewind Dale and in Ten-Towns, that’s the very same area that the newly announced Rime of the Frostmaiden centres around.
It’s a dark and freezing part of The Forgotten Realms, with feral beasts and frequent blizzards. Worse, some strange madness is spreading through Ten-Towns.
The adventure follows Saarvin, a Dragonborn ranger, who arrives in this frostbitten scene with a host of colourful new characters.
The comic is written by Aimee Garcia and AJ Mendez, illustrated by Martin Coccolo and coloured by Katria Mae Hao.
At The Spine of the World has a due date of 21st of October. A cover price has not yet been announced.
