Avatar Press are relaunching the Warrior Nun comic book series with Warrior Nun: Dora. The timing, of course, lines up with Netflix’s Warrior Nun show.
$2,700 was asked to bring this Pat Shand and Daniel Gete story to life and with two weeks to go, $6,345 has been pledged. It’ll be a success. You can follow the progress over here at the campaign page.
The story of Warrior Nun: Dora is set in the 90s. Dora is a grunge teen who gets sent away to a religious school. Pat Shand’s story has her discover that the nun teachers there are caught in a raging conflict against undead horrors.
A pledge of $9 will get you a digital copy of the 64-page graphic novel. That’s due to be released in September and will arrive as both PDF and CBZ files via the Comic Cavalcade digital store.
$17 gets you a lot more warriors; Dora as well as Warrior Nun: Areala and Warrior Nun: Areala – Armor of God GN in digital. It’s a little longer wait for those with the 370 pages due in October.
A physical copy of Warrior Nun: Dora, as well as the digital copy and the digital versions of the Areala tales, are yours for $21.
You can go higher, unlocking even more Warrior Nun goodies but these tiers are limited and selling out.
There’s an extra level of superhero content on Geek Native for the first week of July. Want to take part? Use this Teleport Link to jump to another randomly selected super-themed post.
