Rem Alternis Productions is a woman-owned production company in Chicago. They’re on Twitch and have streamed RPGs of Kids on Bikes, building a 5e Shadowrun character and D&D’s Lost Mine of Phandelver.
The streaming, though, isn’t the main project Rem Alternis is working on. Ambitions are higher than that. The goal is to make the fantasy cyberpunk web series Chicago Shadows and do that they’re aiming at $200K per episode.
The trailer went live over the weekend.
As you’d expect, there’s a Patreon which offers perks from $2+VAT a month but goes all the way to one person being able to secure a position in the Rem Alternis gaming group for a monthly contribution of $120+VAT.
Given that the team is interested in a fantasy cyberpunk, it’s not a surprise they’ve already been streaming some Shadowrun RPG content.
In the near future, the mega-corporations have near-total control, magic has returned, other races are here, and dragons rule the boardrooms.
There’s a read-along trailer for the World of Chicago Shadows already for those who might be curious.
