We got the first teaser for Different Tales’ Heart of the Forest last month.
The new trailer reveals plenty more.
The game looks to be a choose your own adventure with World of Darkness influenced character sheets.
Heart of the Forest has been designed by Jacek Brzeziński and Artur Ganszyniec, known for their work as leads on the first The Witcher RPG, as well as tabletop RPGs.
Different Tales has confirmed the primary resources in the game are Rage, Willpower and Personality.
In the game, you play as Maia, a young woman looking for her family and who arrives at the ancient wilderness of Białowieża Forest.
In a press release, Sean Greaney, Brand Manager for World of Darkness at Paradox Interactive told press;
We’re excited to be partnering with Different Tales: their unique brand of narrative adventure storytelling fits the World of Darkness perfectly. The story of Maia helps us experience the richness and complexities of the Garou, and gives us a new perspective on their long, savage struggle to protect the world from natural and supernatural disaster.”
