Dream Realm Storytellers have kicked off their expansion plans for their successful Svilland campaign setting with a grim adventure called Freyja’s Tears.
Geek Native reviewed Svilland last year, and I found the setting to be dangerous, deadly and detailed. Based on the early performance of Frejya’s Tears, I wasn’t the only one. The indie-published asked for £3,527 to fund the expansion and now, with 29 days left, they have 550 backers and over £24, 000 pledged. You can follow progress here.
It’s a pledge of £8 (about $10) to get the Freyja’s Tears PDF and a note in the game. If you also need to get a copy of the core Svilland setting, then that and Freyja’s Tears are yours in PDF for £20.
If you step up to print for Freya’s Tears, paying £28 (about $35) for the book, then you get the core Svilland in PDF for free. Alternatively, if you’d rather have the core rules in print and the adventure in PDF then that’s £35 ($45).
Paper all the way? That’s £51 (or about $5). The estimated delivery date for the physical copies is April 2021 while the PDFs will come out a month earlier.
The book is more than just an adventure though as it introduces Hel points (Hel’s corruption) and Warband rules for D&D.
