Okay, we’ve had the Lion King stage show, with Wicked we’ve had the Wizard of Oz stage show and we’ve even had a Walking With Dinosaurs touring show.
With that in mind do you think we’d ever see a “Batman Live” stage show?
According to Heat Vision that’s exactly what we’ll see. Nick Grace Management and Water Lane Prods – the companies behing Mamma Mia and Walking With Dinosaurs have been lined up by DC Comics and Warners for the product.
Heat Vision suggests that Batman Live will be neither a theatrical production nor a musical. Instead it’s supposed to be an “arena production” aimed at kids and families.
There’s more: “Batman: Mask of the Phantasm” writer Alan Burnett is supposed to be writing the story and script. The contents of Burnett’s script are still secret but the speculation is that it’ll involve many villians.
What do you think? Great idea, good bad, meh, bad idea or terrible idea?
