Strontium Dog is a comic series from the comic series 2000 AD that features a mutant bounty hunter called Johnny Alpha.
A great nuclear war wiped out most of Britain’s population in 2150, and the resulting fallout (strontium-90) resulted in mutant births. One of the only jobs available to these mutants is that of a bounty hunter.
The comic books are bleak and weird at the same time. The RPG, from EN Publishing, is set in the same universe as Judge Dredd and in the year 2180.
The game is a supplement, expanding the official Judge Dredd & The Worlds of 2000AD core rule book with new careers, equipment, locations and adversaries.
Judge Dredd & The Worlds of 2000 AD use EN Publishing’s WOIN system (What’s Old is New), and Strontium Dog was written by Darren Pearce, Marc Langworthy and John White.
The 176-paged supplement costs $14.99 at DriveThruRPG and has been available to download since July 31st.
