Fields of Victory is a sourcebook for Legend of the Five Rings and Blood of the Lioness is an adventure.
Fantasy Flight Games is transferring its RPGs to sister studio Edge but, for now, work continues. Both companies are owned by Asmodee who is no doubt keen that FFG keep the RPG on track.
Fields of Victory
The sourcebook contains information about warfare in Rokugan past and present along with new gameplay and character options for players.
The book is presented from the perspective of the Lion Clan, who studies history and preserve it. The supplement introduces new rules, tools and guidance on how to prepare and run large scale battles in the RPG.
Fields of Victory introduces the weaponsmith Badger Clan, ten new schools and both titles and techniques suitable for current characters.
Blood of the Lioness
The adventure takes the samurai characters into the history of a battle on the Snow Plain. What the characters do, or fail to do, will either bring peace to Rokugan or chaos.
The Scorpion and Unicorn clans are in dispute over the ownership of a vital diamond mine. Each clan has a claim and the answers may be found at the Akodo War College.
Blood of the Lioness is a 32-page booklet, double-sided map and punchboard tokens.
Both books are scheduled to be released in 2021.
