Sunghoo Park (The God of High School) and the horror anime Jujutsu Kaisen caught Geek Native’s attention in May. The anime looked good and the cast list impressive.
Crunchyroll has landed Jujutsu Kaisen as an exclusive.
It won’t be a long wait. The anime platform will start to run the series in October.
Jujutsu Kaisen is a dark fantasy that tracks the life of teenager Yuji Itadori caught up in a web of magic and curses.
Shame. Regret. Hardship. These are all curses in Jujutsu Kaisen, and they’re all dangerous. These curses can be beaten, but only by another curse.
The finger in the trail is important. Itadori eats it. The finger belonged to the Double-Faced Spectre and eating it takes the Spectre’s curse into his own body.
The sorcerer Gojo Satoru then guides Itadori into the Tokyo Metropolitan Technical High School of Sorcery, a group that fight curses.
The anime is based off the popular 2018 manga and is being made by Studio MAPPA.
