In shady corners of the internet, there’s a bit of chat about Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPT). Leaning on AI technology, these are ways to “write” text as if an actual human had written something up.
For a PR/SEO move, I guess, a bid management platform called Adzooma decided to use the technology for something else and reveal the results.
Adzooma fed GPT-2 with the best-selling tech and toys dating back to 1970. With that data as the base, the GPT-2 system was then used to “predict” 2020’s Christmas bestsellers.
