9th Level Games won Best Rules for their RPG Mazes at the Indie Groundbreaker Awards so they clearly know how to write RPGs.
Business Wizards is their latest.
Like Kobolds Ate My Baby! and Mazes, Business Wizards uses the Polymorph system. That means the game is rules-lite and designed for narrative play.
In the game, you are a BIZARD. That’s a wizard who is all business. Got a problem? Don’t waste your time applying any elbow grease or work ethic to solve it. Use magic. That’s your style.
Highlights of the game include the ability to summon coffee and attend STAFF meetings.
Tempted but worried you won’t be able to play Business Wizards with anyone? 9th Level Games recently launched a hosted online play service in which you can buy a ticket, join the virtual table and secure your seat with fellow gamers and an experienced GM.
The game is getting a retail release in November this year if 2020 allows, and you can pre-order from 9th Level right now. It was written by Nat Mesnard and Patrick Watson.
