Lowlife 2090 is a cyberpunk and sorcery RPG set in the near and dystopian future of 2090.
Pickpocket Press is enjoying a good run Kickstarter with the game, asking for AU$ 5,000 and fast approaching $8,000 with 24 days still on the clock. I’m sure the kickass pitch video is one of the reasons, but not the only one, that they’re doing well. You can check out the latest totals at the campaign page.
Pickpocket Press is keeping this one punchy but straightforward; the Kickstarter pitch is almost entirely made up of bullet points with bold highlights.
It’s a d20 system modified from their Low Fantasy Gaming engine, which is available in pledge bundles here in which you have to roll under to pass checks.
Hit points are kept low and weapon damage high. Pickpocket call this “Anti Attrition Combat”, I call it deadly.
There are six races; Human, Elf, Dwarf, Spriggan, Skorn and Minotaur, which is an unusual mix. The fantasy cyberpunk RPG offers up nine classes as well; Brawler, Covert, Exarch, Face, Gunhand, Hacker, Mage, Tech and Vex.
There’s an official Discord server if you want to pop in and ask questions.
