Luke Hart of The DM Lair YouTube channel has clearly earned the trust and confidence of his viewers.
The Kickstarter for his D&D adventure module, Into the Fey, which uses his Quest Points system and is for 1st level characters, is going great. There’s over $40,000 pledged to the $10,000 goal and more than three weeks left to run. You can check out the progress on the campaign page.
The DM Lair has over 63K followers on YouTube and a membership tier.
Into the Fey is suitable for four to six players with characters at level 1 to 5. I presume they start at about level 1 and will end up at about level 5.
In addition to pre-written adventure the book contains new fey cretures, magic items, spells, art and professional cartography from Paths of Inspiration.
There’s merch too.
A backing of $10 will get you a one-shot collection and wallpaper, it’ll get you into the add-on purchase scramble later, but you need to step up to $25 to get the full adventure in PDF.
It’s a hop to $40 to get the Into the Fey hardcover, along with the digital goodies.
The $65 tier offers the draft and an invite to the playtest and looks pretty popular, another indication that Hart’s charisma has the attention of fans. They want to be involved.
In fact, at the time of writing, two backers have pledged $1,000 each to be really involved.
